My safeguarding qualification is now out of date. How do I update my qualification

The FAs online Safeguarding Children Recertification is available for free for anyone who has previously completed the Safeguarding Children Course. The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop or online Recertification, and your qualification is due to expire in the next six months, or it has already expired. 
 
The course will take you around one hour to complete and will be valid for two years. If you completed the old style re-certification which was discontinued in June 2022, the qualification will be valid for three years.
  
You will only be able to take this course if you have a previous Safeguarding Children Workshop or online recertification on your FAN that was completed at least two-and-a-half years ago. If you do not hold any safeguarding children qualifications, you will need to complete the Safeguarding Children Course, which is available for £30.
